Semana Pasado

First just want to say another late happy fathers day to my pops, I love you and without you I wouldnt be here or made it through the last four years.

Last weekend I went to Puerto Varas with some friends and had a great time. It was a pretty spur of the moment thing cause I was pretty bored, but I met up with my friend, Tina, to get my Carnet for Chile, which is the Chielan ID. And lets just say the DMV in every country is the same fucking blew and then we didnt have the right slip and when we went to go get it the International Police wasnt there, bologna¡¡ But right afterwards we took a bus down to Puerto Varas and when we got there we were greeted with open arms. Many of the other friends that we met in Sanitago were there and it was fun from the start. It was a pretty American weekend much drinking and eating and being loud but just what I needed. We went to this one place where they only had 3 beers, all delicious and I met a man who came down to Chile with nothing but a bookbag and a credit card and has been there for 4 years. We went to a bar and danced faces off and drank more. We got burgers the next day and rested, the weather was rainy but we made due. We then had an awesome seafood dinner, because this place is right on the water and has very good seafood. Then went out again and had a gay old time at the same bar ha ha. Towards the end of the night I met an Apache man who was from the States and had been living in Chile for 30 years, and has 4 kids, a little shady about if he had 2 in Chile and 2 in America but by the end of the night he was giving me kisses on the cheek and not allowing me to speak spanish to him. We stayed up very late that night and our hostel was very mad but whatevs it was funny cause the only english words this lady knew was IM FED UP FED UP be quiet¡ We all passed out on the ride home.
Teaching has be harder than i thought. The kids are loco but very sweet, there are just too many of them for one teacher to handle. But my teachers are the shit. Really funny and cool to hang out with.
I am trying to go hiking this weekend if the weather holds up, going to try and see the lava at the top of the volcano, damn straight.
Shout out to my grandma, Mama Eilleen, who is totally better form her illness and will hopefully come down to Argentina to visit the other fam and I can see her. Love you Mama you are the best and strongest grandma in the world.

Y.O.L.O.

Best wishes to all,
Franke
