Discotecas 101

Coach Tribou once said that going both ways in a football game is one of the hardest/most tiring things someone can do. I agree with that statement but would also like to add going to a discotec, dancing 5 hours straight, sober, then sleeping 45 minutes, and go hiking the next day is just as hard. Here are some things I noticed and recommend for good discotecs:

1. Strobe lights, strobe lights, strobe lights. Not only do they make you feel drunker but make you dance better too, and make the girls around you look better.

2. Drink before hand. Las bebidas es muy caro.

3. Pisco pepsi is my new favorite drink.

4. Although my dance moves in the states were foolish, here in Chile everyone dances like a fool.

5. Fog machines should be a requirement for every club in the world.

6. Always have a video or multiple videos of extreme skiing and snowboarding on the walls, the same ones that Billy and Justin would always watch, not kidding.

7. Give away free bottles and gifts from the stage because it makes the dueschbag guys leave their girlfriends haha.

8. Chileanos are short.

9. If you don't smoke or can't take smoke don't go because you will feel like you smoked a pack when you leave, and smoking inside is not illegal here, and Don's Rok.

10. If don't want herpes don't go to the bathroom, they don't have soap and it's gross.

11. If you are able to get drunk beforehand, you will be sober by the end because bars and clubs don't close until 5am. And you dance so much that you sweat it all out.

12. Always make sure you have enough money for a taxi afterwards because for some reason the discos are always super lejos del centro.

13. Learn spanish.

14. Completos are the best late night food in the world and 24hr places that make them are girfts from god.

- A Completo is a big hot dog in a bigger bun with a shit load of chopped tomato, avocado and mayo, then put Aji on it and its the bomb.

15. Make sure you can sleep all day the next day because you usually won't go to bed until 6 or 7 in the morning. But who cares about sleep, yolo.

16. Wear comfortable shoes your legs will feel numb for 12 hours.

17. Yes and also you will have a ringing in your ears for awhile afterwards, awesomely loud music.

18. Make sure you love reggaeton. Croni-K, Daddy Yankee, Jowell & Randy and Pit Bull are the shit.

19. Everyone loves music from the States but no one knows what they are saying and the Chileans always confuse the words , very funny. But it is used to boost people back up at around 4am.

20. If someone can't pronounce your name just add a vowel to it and its all good.
